Tallow is a hard fat consists chiefly of glyceryl esters of oleic, palmitic, and stearic acids (16-18 carbon chains). It is extracted from fatty deposits of animals.
Tallow Amines are used for soaps, leather dressings, candles, food, and lubricants. They are used in producing synthetic surfactants. Tallow based alkyl amines are widely used in the synthesis of organic chemicals and cationic and amphoteric surfactants.
