Tallow Amine is a surfactant with a weak irritant ammonia smell. It is not easily soluble in water, but easily soluble in chloroform, alcohol, ethyl ether, and benzene. It also has basicity and produces corresponding amine salts when reacting with acide.
Tallow Amine is widely used in mineral floating agent, waterproof softener of fiber, dyeing assistant, anti-static agent, pigment dispersant, anti-rusting agent, anti-caking agent of fertilizer, additives of lubricating oil, germicide, etc.
