applications:

It is a key monomer for the manufacture of acrylic resins, and is best suited for use in solvent-based systems. The bicyclic structure of IBOMA gives rise to acrylate polymers with enhanced thermal stability and a high glass transition temperature.

It is primarily used in industrial paints and coatings, particularly for metal, glass, and plastics. Small volumes are used as a reactive diluent for oligomers.
